Parker McCollum Fort Worth reviews
Great show!
Concert was Great, Traffic was Awful
Purchased the VIP Parking, but was not told where to go or what gate for that. Spent 2 hours in traffic circling Fair Park a few times, being in the wrong line, sitting at green lights but unable to move because there were cars blocking the intersection or the line was full, etc. Had to miss basically all of Flatland Cavalry, one of my absolute favorite bands. I did roll down my window down when I was nearby and was able to hear “One I Want” from the line of traffic!
Parker McCollum was great. I didn’t know most of his music, but have started listening to the music that hasn’t made it to the radio yet!! I would definitely see him again!!
Other than the traffic, the venue did a great job of getting us through security, tickets scanned, and to my seat quickly.
Parker was GREAT! Crowd/venue…not so much!
Parker was phenomenal as well as his opener. I was amazed by how well they sounded in person, as sometimes some performers sound a little different live. He did not. He’s a very talented artist and his vocals were really really good! Unfortunately, he draws a young crowd with ZERO concert etiquette. Maybe I’m just getting older, but those ‘kids’ cannot handle their alcohol and just shove/shout/cuss and fuss. It was awful to be hit in the head repeated and shoved by drunk 20-something-year-olds all night. I’ve been to so many concerts I’ve lost count in my 36 years, but the crowd for this one was an absolute nightmare- and totally beyond Parker’s, the venue’s, or really anyones control. My only suggestion would have been floor seats, so that people would have known their place and maybe had a little guidance to “stay in their lane.” But I get the venue allowed for more capacity with standing room only. Other than that, the show was great.
